BENEVENTO AND TAURASI WINE TASTING

This tour is dedicated to those interested in visiting the town of Benevento with the local vineyard in Taurasi. The ancient name of Benevento was “Maloeventum” (bad wind), but the Romans re-baptised “Beneventum” (good wind), in honor of the victory over Pirro, King of the Epiro. With a stop at a local vineyard in Taurasi. The town's name of Taurasi is probably from the Latin Taurus. Over time it changed several names before changing to its current form. The town of Taurasi is best known for its famous red wine, with the same name, made of Aglianico grapes and aslo with Piedirosso and Barbera grapes, a full-bodied dry wine with an aromatic vein.

You can decide to book the car with the driver and a private guide for the full day or just the car with a driver.
