Full day experience at Pompeii, Herculaneum and Oplontis by Circumvesuviana local train

The Circumvesuviana is a local train with stops in all towns on the slopes of the Mount Vesuvius.

With this vehicle you can comfortably get to the sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Oplontis.

The line Napoli-Pompei-Sorrento starts from the terminus in Naples and then stop in several towns along the bay. The complete journey from Naples to Sorrento or Sorrento to Naples takes about one hour. Halfway along the line is the station at "Pompeii Scavi", situated about 100 meters away from the entrance called "Porta Marina Superiore".

The first stop north from Pompeii Scavi is at the station of "Torre Annunziata" just 3 minutes walk away from the site of Oplontis.

Herculaneum is located 15 minutes by train north from Oplontis; stop at the station of "Ercolano" and then just 5 minutes walk to get the archaeological site.
